A Letter to Our Visitors
I have spent much of my life restoring things that others thought were worn out or forgotten—old automobiles, old houses, and pieces of history that deserved to be preserved. Restoration teaches patience, respect for original design, and the belief that what once worked well can work again when cared for properly.
The Grand Jury Civic Initiative™ was born from that same spirit of restoration. Our nation was founded on the principle that the people themselves are capable of governing their local communities with wisdom and responsibility. Yet over time, the practical knowledge of how citizens participate in self-governance has been lost from our schools and civic life.
GJCI™ exists to restore what has been forgotten—not to reinvent government, but to teach Americans the historical and constitutional role they were meant to play. This initiative is educational in nature and rooted in respect for our nation’s founding principles. It is my hope that through learning, understanding, and civic responsibility, citizens will once again recognize their place in preserving liberty for future generations.
Restoration is not about returning to the past; it is about recovering what is timeless. GJCI™ is dedicated to restoring civic knowledge so that self-governance may once again be understood, practiced, and passed on.
