🟦 1. Legislative Branch – Content & Curriculum Builders (TBD-Curriculum Council or Legislative Team)
Role: Create and steward the material
These are our:

  • Curriculum developers
  • Editors
  • Historians
Function (symbolic):
  • Draft lessons
  • Propose new units
  • Develop study materials
  • Ensure historical accuracy

🟥 2. Executive Branch – Operations & Implementation (TBD-Operations Team or Executive Team)
Role: Carry out the mission
These are your:
  • Project coordinators
  • Website managers
  • Communications team
  • Event organizers
  • Publishing & distribution leads

  • Implement what’s been created
  • Manage timelines
  • Organize releases
  • Coordinate volunteers

Role: Guard standards and tone
These are your:
  • Reviewers
  • Advisors
  • Ethics or tone committee
  • Proofreaders
  • Fact-checkers

  • Ensure neutrality and educational purpose
  • Review for mission alignment
  • Prevent drift into advocacy
  • Protect credibility

Mission Statement

The mission of the Grand Jury Civic Initiative ™ is to promote civic literacy by educating Americans about the original role of the grand jury in our system of self-government. The initiative presents historical and constitutional understanding in a clear, responsible, and non-confrontational manner. Its purpose is to encourage informed citizenship grounded in humility, restraint, and respect for the rule of law. Through education, it seeks to help preserve the principles of popular sovereignty for present and future generations.
